Life Changing Realization (of the week)

Jumanji 3: Da River

So there we were

myself and my manager,

barreling down the highway

in some sort of 

drug-enduced

frenzy

walking along the River

at 9 am 

on a Wednesday

(don't act like you can do that in your city),

when I came upon

a location

that I had chronicled sometime

in March.

Only at the time,

I had taken 

a picture from the patio vantage point,

and now I was 

in the trenches, 

seeing March from a different angle. 

Scary how a little bit of light

and a little bit of time

can change even

the best of memories.

As the year begins 

the homestretch 

into '11,

let's all remember that time

is going by frighteningly quick

and we aren't getting any younger.

I want to see some marriages!

Careers! 

Hustle points!

At the very least,

stop wearing those Tom's 

and get some 

goddamn dress shoes!
